Credit Review Officer for Qatar

VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking Credit Review Officer for one of our clients which is a leading Bank in Qatar with the following skill set and terms and conditions.
Skill Set required:
• Minimum 5 years credit experience within project finance or a minimum 3 years credit experience within project finance preceded by 4 years of corporate finance or accounting or M&A or PE experience
• CFA level 2 or equivalent professional or academic qualification
• Exposure to multiple industry sectors
• Proficient in report writing in English
• Software requirements: Excel expert - Word advanced - Power Point competent
• Demonstrable analytical skills
• Demonstrable ability to work on multiple assignments under pressure from deadlines
• Basic Financial Modeling (build the financial statements on the basis of the business drivers & run sensitivities)
• Ability to review and evaluate loan documentation, contractual agreements, insurance documents and other project related documents
• Regional experience would be a strong advantage
• Team player with a can do attitude
• Fluent in English, preferably bilingual in Arabic but not a must.

Responsibilities :

• Review all the project documents for term loans or working capital facilities which includes the Relationship Manger’s recommendations as to financing the client.
• Evaluate the terms & conditions, the risks and mitigants, the security, and covenants.
• Analyze the client’s Financial Statements and prepare the Financial Spreads.
• Review the financial model / projections for the project (check for errors) - stress test the base case and evaluate the impact on DSCR, LLCR etc. In some cases build a rudimentary model.
• Review the capital structure of the client and analyze the risks involved in their business, in order to ascertain the appropriate level of debt.
• Calculate the credit ratings as per the bank’s guidelines based on various quantitative and qualitative factors.
• Analyze the firm within the industry and understanding the critical success factors for the business.
• As and when required review of Macro Economic environment, growth trends in various industries in order to recommend expansion areas for the bank portfolio.
• Advising and recommending changes to policy, procedures and forms.
• Provide support & training to new members of staff in conducting the above.
