Compliance Manager Responsibilities: - Provide technical expertise to project team on regulatory compliance issues,new rules & proposed rule changes.Submit technical materials(plans,analyses,documents) to Flag/Class for approval & follow-up on outstanding review comments.Coordinate with Engineering staff & consultants as necessary.Track pertinent Flag/Coastal State & Classification Society certificates,inspections,surveys& deficiencies on the Drilling Rig & conduct pre-inspections for readiness.Serve as the Company Security Officer for the Porject.Oversee vessel security plans.Represent company on regulatory compliance issues at various IMO,governmental & industry meetings. Requirements: - College Degree(preferably in Engineering)or equivalent experience. - 10 years of experience in dealing with regulatory compliance,health/safety & environmental issues & marine surveying. - Experience in counselling & mentoring. - Experience in leadership & management techniques. - Familiarity wit appropriate software. - Work independently both individual & with groups. - Wiiling to travel. - Strong independent thinker,process improvement.
